Before you startSupercycle doesn’t currently support Shopify self-returns, so if you have it enabled and a return is made via Shopify returns, it won’t be marked as returned in Supercycle.

Setup

Enable customer accounts
To enable new customer accounts if not already enabled:

Open customer account settings
From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Customer accounts.

Enable customer accounts
Select Customer accounts if not already selected. This will update your store to new customer accounts.

Open the Customer account page in your theme

Go to themes
In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.

Open the customizer
Click Customize on the theme you want to edit.

Navigate to customer accounts
Use the dropdown at the top of the screen (Says “Home page”) to select Checkout and customer accounts.

Insert Supercycle extensions

Open the Apps menu
In the left-hand menu of the theme editor, click the Apps icon (a square symbol).

Find Supercycle
Scroll to find the Supercycle section.

Add the Supercycle Account Page
Click the + button next to Dashboard, then choose Accounts to insert the full account view.

Add to menu
Click Add to menu to create a navigation link that brings customers to this page. You can rearrange this to make this the first link.

Save your changes
Make sure to save your menu changes. When you’ve finished adding extensions, click Save. To test, login as a customer with a rental.

Set up return methods

Navigate to return settings
In your Shopify admin, go to Supercycle → Settings → Customer accounts.

Configure return methods
Under Return methods, select which return methods you want the customer to be able to use, and configure the settings.

Click Save.
Manage memberships
Customers open Membership on the dashboard to see every active or paused membership. Each membership appears as its own card with the membership name, status, and a Manage membership button. If a customer holds more than one membership, they see one card per membership and open each one separately. On a membership page, customers can:- See credits, order and return allowances, and the next renewal date
- Rename membership — set a custom name that appears on the dashboard and membership page. The plan title still shows underneath when it differs from the custom name.
- Pause membership or Resume membership — when you turn on Cancel and pause membership under Supercycle → Settings → Methods → Membership method → Customer accounts
- Cancel membership — for the membership they are viewing, subject to your cancellation window, minimum term, and credit-return rules
